Policies & Specifics

Pricing:
The price of my artwork is based on how long it takes to create plus the cost of materials (yarn, polyfill stuffing, pattern cost, and any additional materials used.) I keep a running timer while I'm actively working on each project, and based on that timing I charge an hourly fee at my discretion. 

When placing an order:
I do require a nonrefundable deposit OR the full balance at the time of placing your order (which will be specified upon our initial conversation.) The nonrefundable deposit amount  covers up front costs of yarn and materials. Please note that your order will not be confirmed or started until the agreed upon deposit or full balance amount is paid. I accept payments via Paypal, Cashapp and Venmo. I do not accept checks at this time.

If you would like to request a specific completion date, please ask! I typically work items in order of the date received, so please keep in mind that I have several orders ahead of yours. I cannot guarantee a rushed order. I want to provide the same amount of time and effort into each project, so your patience & understanding is greatly appreciated!

At project completion:
I will keep you updated throughout the crocheting process as to when your item should be completed and ready for pickup or shipping. Your balance must be paid in full prior to pickup or shipping. I currently ship via UPS, and shipping charges are fully determined based on packaging weight, size and shipping location. 

If we have agreed upon local item pickup, please prioritize your pickup within two weeks of completion. I will not hold orders beyond two weeks, and if the order is not picked up, it will be resold.

 

Last but not least:
I put a lot of hard work and time into each order (all of the behind the scenes work adds up: the time it takes to place and design your order, searching for patterns, purchasing items, working up the project, photographing and packaging, etc.) I also do my best to ensure open communication on my end so that we are always on the same page.

Upon completion: Should there be a lack of communication or no response from the client after three communication attempts from me in one week, I will consider your order cancelled. Any payments towards your order at this time are nonrefundable. Please understand that at this point I have already put my time and effort into your project, and if you do not pay your balance or pickup your item, it will be resold to a loving home.
